What Are TMDs?
Temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) affect the jaw joint, muscles, and related structures.
They can cause chronic pain, limited jaw movement, headaches, ear discomfort, and difficulty eating or speaking. Because TMDs are poorly understood, many patients face misdiagnoses, ineffective care, and ongoing pain.
